A local legend to Lithgow and the wider community. Nina Vida Jones certainty put the Zig Zag Brewery, then known as Corbett’s brewery on the map. Winning many races and setting many records in the 1930’s, which even today nearly 100 year on has yet to be surpassed.

This is why we honour her name and achievement with our beer apathy named Mrs Jones. We only hope we live up to her high standard and achievement.

Inspired by Nina Eva Vida Jones, a pioneering Australian motorsport legend, this bold Red IPA captures her adventurous spirit. It honors Vida’s fearless drive and determination, much like her historic racing achievements, offering a unique and thrilling experience in every sip, just as she did on the track.

A bold Red IPA, just like Nina Jones, with assertive aromas of pine and grapefruit, balanced by a deep, earthy sweetness of molasses. Resinous hops deliver a lingering bitterness  while smooth malt character adds depth.   

Mrs Jones 1929 Alfa-Romeo restoration project. Restored with all the original parts. Which set the Australian Land Speed record and was the first winner of a ¼ mile sprint race in the world, yes world. Only 50 in the world !!
