AA local legend to Lithgow and the wider community. Nina Vida Jones certainly put the Zig Zag Brewery, then known as Corbett’s Brewery, on the map. Winning many races and setting many records in the 1930s, which even today, nearly 100 years on, has yet to be surpassed.

This is why we honour her name and achievement with our beer apathy, Mrs Jones. We only hope we live up to her high standards and achievements.

Inspired by Nina Eva Vida Jones, a pioneering Australian motorsport legend, this bold Red IPA captures her adventurous spirit. It honours Vida’s fearless drive and determination, much like her historic racing achievements, offering a unique and thrilling experience in every sip, just as she did on the track.

A bold Red IPA, just like Nina Jones, with assertive aromas of pine and grapefruit, balanced by a deep, earthy molasses sweetness. Resinous hops deliver a lingering bitterness while smooth malt character adds depth.  

Mrs Jones 1929 Alfa-Romeo restoration project. Restored with all the original parts. Which set the Australian Land Speed record and was the first winner of a ¼ mile sprint race in the world, yes world.
